Unit only starts sporadically. It will work well for a couple of weeks and then not respond when starting a wash. I've checked power and even shut the breaker off and turned it back on, but it doesn't seem to reset the unit. Then a few days later we'll try it and it will turn off. Do you know what could be causing this?

I suspect you may have moisture in the contacts of the touch pad.You may need to replace the control panel but there is a trick you can try first. Turn off the power to the appliance. Use a hair dryer to heat the panel up until very warm while rubbing firmly over each of the buttons. Often times, this will restore operation. Be sure to get the panel very warm but not hot enough to damage the plastic.
