I have repeated all the tests mentioned in the thread to no avail. Unplugged and replugged. Heated panel. Nothing. Continues to give 8.8 and 50 messages. Accepts no input

You need a new user interface board, Get part #1 at this link and order it with your serial number as there are 2 different ones. That will fix this issue.

Part 1 and 1B are the same part, but you need the serial number when ordering to get the correct one.
