I keep glasses of water in the refrigerator. I just noticed

Customer Question

I keep glasses of water in the refrigerator. I just noticed that they have started forming ice. I have not adjusted the temp controls. Could the problem be the heat inside my house. We are experiencing a heat wave and I don't have air conditioning.

At the bottom where they always are.

ok are you saying in the crisper drawers or on the bottom shelf?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Bottom shelf. There was no ice in the glasses this morning so maybe it was a house heat problem. Will see it it happens again once the heat kicks in.

ok if the unit is having to run more because of the ambient temperature it can make the bottom area cooler ,because of course cold air falls.
so lets see what happens to day and we can go from there.
