I have a Jenn-Air slide-in cooktop and oven. Everything works

Customer Question

I have a Jenn-Air slide-in cooktop and oven. Everything works except the board for the oven does not light up. The oven comes on and the buttons "beep." Is there an easy way to get the board to light up? It is very inconvenient to only "guess" as what temperature I have in my oven. the Model Number is: SVE4750013

Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! There is a capacitor on the display board that has failed. The board will need to be replaced unless you are able to perform some electronic components replacement on the board. Is this something you are able to do?

The board for your model is shown as number 3 in the diagram at the URL below.

The link below is to the part you will need from a highly recommended company rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau. They offer a 100% money back guarantee, EVEN ON INSTALLED ELECTRICAL PARTS, for an entire year! They are the only company to allow returns on installed parts for a refund and offer a FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY!

If you feel you want to repair the board, replace the capacitor marked C3, a large electrolytic capacitor that looks like the ones in the picture at the URL below.
