Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 34 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 60,000 phone and internet repairs under my belt.
Which burner is this on?
Will the burner light with a match or lighter?
And are the burner caps positioned on the burner body correctly?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Left front burner. The burner will light with a match. Plenty of gas is coming out and the spark is therw

ok make sure the spark is going to the round metal cap .
Make sure the cap is clean under it with no rust or other foods on it ,that cap needs to be able to touch bare metal to create a path to ground for the spark to be hot enough to lite the fuel.
And if you can make the kitchen as dark as possible and turn the burner on and see it the left front spark is as bright as any of the other ones.
these ceramic igniters can crack and it will spark out of the crack and can spark where there is no fuel ,say under the cooktop ,but still have a spark above the cooktop ,but it is just not a hot enough spark to lite the fuel.
Let me know what you find.
