I have a one year old WHIRLPOOL model WFW7D0HEBW2 washer.

Customer Question

I have a one year old WHIRLPOOL model WFW7D0HEBW2 washer. The spin cycle does not spin the water our. Clothes come out too wet to put into the dryer. Perhaps there is a filter that is clogged. If so, where is it?

Does the unit spin at all and maybe just not fast enough?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It does spin. I think it spins for the correct time and correct speed.

Thanks for your question.
You need to check the pump filter it is likely blocked and causing the issue. It is part #26 at this link. You need to take the front off the unit to get at it. It is a bit of a job to do FYI.

Do you know of a YouTube that will help with the DIY.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Are there and instructions that give a step-by-step procedure to clean the filter? I have found these to be very helpful for other projects.

This would be about the closest video I could find.

The video is for a LG pump replacement. Are you suggesting that the access to the pump filter on a Whirlpool washer is very similar?
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 1 year ago.
Yes it is very similar on your machine.
