Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 34 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 60,000 phone and internet repairs under my belt.
The manufactures wire diagram does not give wire colors only terminal numbers on the switch if you by pass L1 to terminal #2 that will feed voltage to the heater circuit. from that terminal #2 you have three in line thermostat before the actual heating element , that could be faulty also. lets by pass L1 to #2 and see if you then get heat when the dryer is running?
