Trying replace a washer control on a top load washer, have back panel off, but can't get white cover over defective control. Hope you can give me directions...Carl

Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! That machine is accessed from the front. Once the top screws are removed, the timer console (number 13 in the diagram at the URL below) will lean forward and allow access.

Have removed screws (which were in the back,not in front) and have panel out... A white housing is covering exiting control and I can't figure how to open it...

The model you posted is showing as using a mechanical timer. Is that what you are trying to remove?
