Customer Question

Whirlpool Duet model#WFW9151Y00 front load washer throws an occasional F9 E2 error code. It will go for days or weeks then it pops up. No rhyme or reason, all loads. Cleaned out all that can be cleaned out, repair center replaced a thermister, but still
nothing.

Hello, this is Dave. Cleaning the pump often does correct this but this code is due to loss of continuity in the circuit from the main control down to the pump. The wires could be loose or there could be a pinched wire. If all that looks good it could be the pump itself. Since this is so intermittent you will need to try something without being completely sure it is the cause. If the wires and connections are good I suggest trying the pump.
