I have a kenmore he2plus washer. The cycle is not starting.

Customer Question

Hi, I have a kenmore he2plus washer. The cycle is not starting. The washer stopped mid cycle and gave f21 code. I know this is a draining issue. I replaced the motor a month ago when draining and cleaning the hose didn't work. That fixed the issue at that time. Now when you start a cycle it locks the door, clicks twice a then nothing, not even a code error. I used your diagnostic test button holding to see if it would give another code, just the f21. Any suggestions?

Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 34 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 60,000 phone and internet repairs under my belt.
For the model you have given the F21 error code is for( This error occurs if the touch-pad/LED assembly is not able to transmit/receive data to/from the central control unit (CCU).)
So you need to look at the connections on the CCU on the top rear rail.
let me know if you have any questions.
