Hi, is it the ice maker in the freezer or refrigerator section?
Thank you

fridge section

On the bottom front side there is a small square test button. Hold the test button down for 5-10 seconds. Does the ice maker start a manual cycle if you hold the button down?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When the maker stopped working, I pushed the ice off button on the front to stop the machine from making a noise....now I dont know how to turn it off to test it.....
Expert:  Appliance Medic replied 1 year ago.
I see. Was it making a clicking type of noise?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
more like a motor

Turn the ice maker back on by pressing the ice off button again.

ok...turned it back on and pressed the test button for 10 seconds....nothing

The ice maker is going to be the culprit. Use a blow dryer and heat the ice maker assembly up. It's possible a small piece of ice is stopping the motor from rotating. If defrosting the housing does not work, the ice maker would need to be replaced to fix this issue for sure.
