freon will not pass through the coils. It appears that the tubing is pluged

Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 33 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 50,000 phone and internet repairs under my belt.

If you have a restriction on the system you will have to try and flush it out with pressure,( I use dry Nitrogen) it will not contaminate the system .

depending on how restricted it is you may have to replace one of the coils ,Evaporator or condenser coil.

And it is also possiblt if it is with in the walls of the unit with in the system you will by buying a new unit .

Im sure this is not what you wanted to hear1

are you doing the repair or having someone else do it ?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

someone else is doing the repair. He already tried nitrogen with no luck.

How much would new coils cost?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

OK, I see that the problem is a lot larger than I thought. The guy repairing my refrigerator has started trying to open the restriction with nitrogen now with no success. Thank you for your answer.

For me ta anwer that I will need the model number of the product you have

but it you are asking me to guess around $200-$300 and you could still have issues .

If you have ready put a new compressor in the unit if it was not under warranty !!

The time would be now to stop putting money it to the unit . no problem !!
