My air conditioning unit is dripping water. HOW do i fix this?

Hello, and thanks for your question! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am happy to assist you today!!

Can you tell me what kind of A/C you have? Is it a window unit or is it a central unit, also the brand and model if you can? Thanks again, and look forward to your reply, Charles

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The brand is called Multuzone- and it is a split unit bedroom. ...12,000 BTU.

Hello again,

All A/C units will create condensation. It will normally drip outside someplace. Is yours dripping inside the house?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes, the drain pipe is outside but it is dripping inside.

Ok, that means that your drain line is plugged up.

That will happen from time to time. You can use compressed air to blow out the line. If that doesn't work then you will need to open the unit and clean out the condensation collector.

The best way is to blow air into the drain line with a air compressor or compressed air.
