My Inglis dishwasher is leaking water at the bottom of the door. I have replaced the door seal without correcting the problem. The model is IPU58462. Do you have a suggestion on how the problem can be fixed?
Hi I,m John I will help you with the leak problem .
Is the leak from the left side of the door ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

One part that will cause the leak is the filter between the door and the outer panel, remove the outer panel and clean the filter this should fix the leak problem .
If you require more assistance let me know please .

what is the purpose of this filter? I will clean the filter after supper

In the dry cycle and the wash cycle its catches steam while its washing and drying and it gets clogged up with sediment and will cause that leak problem.

I cleaned the filter as you suggested. It was passed due to be cleaned.

After putting the door panel back I ran a test cycle and continue to have a leaking dishwater. This time it is at both corners and near the hinges.

Then I would replace the vent if that did not fix the problem, its the only part that will cause the leak if you replaced the gasket , Open this link for the part number .

John could the leak problem be related to defective water deflectors?

Yes they could , I thought you replaced those when you replaced the gasket .No tools required to replace the two deflectors .397064-2-M-Whirlpool-8528862-Water-Deflector.jpg
