Hello Corinna my name is XXXXX XXXXX you for choosing our service.

When the washer is in the wash cycle for instance. If you were to leave it alone will it wash forever or does it advance forward and stop before the next cycle?

it goes to the spin cycle and spins forever,

Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX The timer will need to be replaced to repair the problem. The motor has failed in it.

Unplug the washer. To replace it pry the timer knob cap off and pull the retainer clip off the shaft of the timer.

Remove the timer knob, the spring and the dial.

Remove the 2 screws holding the timer in place.

Remove the 2 inside screws on the control panel and tilt away from the console.

Change the timer wires out one at a time, reverse to reassemble.
