Hello..No need to throw parts at the fridge that you do not really need..Sounds like a intermittent problem..Which are very difficult to trouble shoot...First have to find out if the problem is due to a faulty compressor..A faulty Main control board..Or just a start relay which is mounted on the side of the compressor..Make sure the coils at the back are free of lint etc....When the problem occurs (or if it does) Feel the compressor ..It should not be hot to the touch..If so..You have a sealed system problem (Faulty compressor..Coil leak Etc.)..If you previously have heard a clicking sound at the back of the fridge..This could be the start relay or the compressor itself...If the compressor is cold to the touch..These means the compressor is not running..This can be caused by a faulty main control board..Meaning it is not sending power to the compressor..Most common cause when a fridge acts as you described is due to the compressor not running.
