What is standby setting?

Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 33 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 50,000 phone and internet repairs under my belt.

I`m assuming you are asking what the manufacture considers Standy by !

This means the unit is has power but is not programmed for any cycle and running.

It is just waiting to run !

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

How do we reset the panel. Lights are on that haven't been on before it show dry when it's washing. detergent door does not open in wash cycle. we have replaced that part. Still doesn't open

Can I please have the Full model number of the unit to better assist you ?
I need to have some type of idea what product I am dealing with to assist you.

model MDB7749AWM1

serial F11616401

Is that what you need?

Thank you .

Which part did you replace the detergent dispenser ?

And what lights are on ?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes, the detergent dispenser. The light stays on dry when it's washing.the delayed timer light is on also the steam clean and cancel drain lights. A new one the rinse only light is on....

Did all these lights appear after you replaced the detergent dispenser?

And have you turned the power off to the dishwasher by either unplugging it ot turning the breaker off anf back on ?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The lights were on before we replaced dispenser. with the detergent door not opening we figured that was problem, it wasn't. Yes , the power was turned off to replace disperser ..

ok then you have a faulty control ,all those lights are not an error code that can be reset .

You will have to replace the control inside the door .
