I am attempting to change a blown bulb in my refrigerator. It is a screw in bulb, but I am difficulty in getting it to unscrew. Does it turn anticlockwise as viewed from the back, or anticlockwise as viewed from the front. I am reluctant to apply too much pressur for fear of breaking the bulb in its fixture. Advice please James XXXX

Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX iam happy to help you with your question today..hello can you turn the breaker or unplug the fridge for a few minutes will doing the repair?

JACUSTOMER-b4ip6k90- :

Yes

Randy 43 :

ok , unplug and the put just a drop of oil or lube in the base of the bulb where it screws into the socket , when looking at the bulb from the front they unscrew counterclockwise , if the bulb breaks that is ok , just get some needle nose pliers and squeeze the bulb base together and unscrew counterclockwise still pulling slighlty at the same time
