Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX iam happy to help you with your question today..does it drain the water out and you still get the F02 ,does it stay in the drain for a long time ?
or do you have to keep putting it into drain to remove all the water?
It drains out
so it stays in the drain cycle for 2-3 minutes even though the water is drained out ? do you have a model number ? thx
where on the washer would i find it
around the door frame or door usually
that is the only error you get ?
i put a load in the washer it runs fine till it gets to the rinse cycle then it goes thru the sud code so i turn the knob to rinse and spin and it usually works fine but now it i shows F02 so we push restart and now the minutes are going down but nothing is happening and we cant get the door open
when you say you have checked the drain , do you mean you checked the outlet of the drain hose or the drain pump itself , right down to the impeller?
just the drain hose
ok , F02 is most of the time a build up in the drain pump causing a slowdown in the draining system , you would need to get into the drain pump and check that for any sort of build up , if you remove the very bottom access panel and remove that you can get into access the drain pump , there is a big nut that you unscrew but you want to bleed off the water slowly into a shallow pan before removing it completely or you will have a lot of water , there is a good chance that will be plugged up
this what the pump looks like , just crack the nut bleed off some water close the nut and repeat until water slows down
how do we remove the excess panel is it in the front
yes on the front very bottom , there are 3 screws under that panel ,unless you have the model with the seemless front?
okay we r taking it off now
still draining water hall more in the washer than we thought
yes , there is a lot in there than what it looks
all cleaned out lots of crap in there it was def plugged whats next all back together
yes just cleaned it out and screw the cap back on and test it with the panel off and make sure it is all ok , should be , all that stuff in there slows the drain down and brings up that error code
unless the impeller got stripped but they are pretty durable ,if it drains out fast , should be fine
waiting for the rinse and spin cycle to finish
so far so good?
All set thanks
