Tappen Dishwasher 61-1127-10 leaking down left side of the tub. Door seal fine.
Runs fine. No leaks around motor/pump/or connecting hoses. No leak at water
off/on solenoid. Drip starts with main wash action and stops when washer stops.

Hi, my name is Farrell & I will be helping you with your problem today. Thanks for your question, it is appreciated. On the left outside of the tub, is the fill tube assy. If you will release the 2 screws at the top, that mount the dw to the cabinet to keep it from tipping forward, you can now walk the dw out of the hole far enough to pull insulation back and look at defective part. You will see a rubber tube up the side and curves down into the part. Turn the dw on again, and watch this part for where its leaking. If its around the mounting gasket, you could take it loose, and apply a small amount of silicone on both sides of the gasket. If its leaking elsewhere, then you will need to order these 2 parts from repairclinic.com;

Thanks for the problem analysis. I checked the hose on the left side, but


did not discover the leak. I had to get a repairman out to find the


problem. The screws that hold the upper rack track were not tight and


allowed water to run through when the machine was making a splash.


Tightening the bolts fixed the leak. Only 15 minutes and $80. Machine


is otherwise in good shape.
