Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX iam happy to help you with your question today..so this hasnt drained right from the start ? is it drained into the existing plumbing or a garburetor? and it is both drawers ? thx
Both drawers, it wasn't working at first and then it started working and now it isn't working. We do not have a garburetor - it drains into the existing plumbing.
do you have it going thru the bottom ,then up to a loop and back down in the drain spout? have you taken the the hose off the plumbing and tried draining into a bucket ? sometimes that little spout of the existing plumbing can have some debris in there partially blocking the drain function ,push a screwdriver into the drain spout of the existing plumbing to insure it is clear
Yes we do - up to 30 inches up above and then loops to the Y pipe on the drain. We are trying what you are suggesting ....
The hose is off - nothing is draining into the bucket - should we start a cycle to get it to drain? Also there is nothing stuck in the hose - we stuck a screwdriver in there and it is not blocked with debris.
How do we start the pump the water out - is there a button to press?
yes ,start a cycle then put it to drain ,if it is clear it should drain into the bucket ,you can try both drawers
what do you mean put it to drain?
after a cycle starts when you cancel it ,it goes to a drain out cycle , let it start for a few minutes
we started a cycle and it is pumping the water out.
it drains first then fills then washes , and if you cancel after that it will drain the full tub out
cancel or power off
ok that worked and it drained into the bucket, the tub is completely drained.
try both tubs again , if it still drains good your existing plumbing may be getting backed up
or you pushed some debris out of the way with the screwdriver possibly?
No, there was no debris - we could see up the hose with a light.
on the dishwasher drain hose ,but what about the house plumbing spout?
the house plumbing spout is fine - we drained water from the pail down into the drain and it went down no problem,
but isnt there a little spout off the main plumbing tube where the DW drain hose attaches? that 3 inch piece can be blocked ,ive seen that quite a few times
Randy, Rick is checking. Since he is working on that I have another question - we have this great new Bosch fridge and when we hooked it up only the freezer worked. The appliance guy from an hour away came and tried to fix it and that didn't work. In the end Bosch sent us a new fridge and we still have the original one. Do you think there is a chance you guys can help us fix that fridge over the computer some time. By the way, Rick thinks there is something in that 3 inch piece ... stay tuned.
Rick says "somethings not right here" LOL
Bingo!!! - the drop down tube dropped and was partially blocking and there was debris... OMG thank you!!!
if its plugged up that is your problem , it can get a build up at times ,as for the fridge yes we hgave techs that are experienced on bosch, i dont work on that model however
Where can we order an extra blue impeller (since a few are broken) in Canada?
do you have a reliable parts in Alberta ? that is the beest place ,or online at repairclinic.com has a lot of parts
That's great about the Bosch. We will go online another day when we have time and see if we can get that going.
Reliable parts --- ok.
sounds good , your DW should be good now if you hook the drain up and give it a test run
Risk is still being mechanical with the pipe - he is in the garage filing something down haha. do you want to wait online while we test it or not?
im online anyway here answering other questions till 3 ,let me know how it goes
Wow this cycle is longggggg. Sounds good so far since I can hear it draining.
Hi Randy. I think we are good with the draining. For some reason the dishwasher was still in the cycle until now (from 120 to 256???) Rick is going to switch the breaker off and on in case it was out of time.
I see you are on line in a chat and so if there are still problems we will dial in again.
