dacor oven beeping f1 in display

Randy 43 :

hello , do you have a model number ? thx Randy

Customer:

n0..have looked but can you tell me where it should be?

Randy 43 :

dacors are usually around the control panel area ,underneath or sometimes if you open the door and look in the vent louvers under the control panel it may be there as well

Customer:

cp32305 I think this is it..very scratched up

Customer:

try cp52305

Randy 43 :

none of those are coming up , but i know from experience with Dacor ovens that F1 is a faulty touchpad 90% of the time ,,the touchpad has a ribbon that joins into the clock ,Dacor themselves say it may be a issue with both parts , that will be very expensive ,each part is $400 plus ..but ive found that it is almost always a faulty touchpad ..that is the front part that you touch to program the oven .one of the buttons is shorted out and bringing up the error code ..to get the proper part the exact model number would be required ,do you have the manual? it may be on there?

Customer:

no..thank you will call for service tomorrow
