F6-E2 is a Communication Error CCU Whirlpools recommendations is to check power supply to the unit .
if ok replace the user interface .
Since it is still in warranty I would call for service on the unit .
when you say check power supply - what do you mean? Power supply in unit, house power?
Is this common for this failure in 2 weeks time and I don't even use this unit but maybe twice a week for 3 loads.
Check the power to the unit itself .
If you have had a power surge a brown out ,or even the power going off and right back on all those things can damage an electronic control .
And with it just 2 weeks old you might even have a loose electrical connection some where with in the unit.
Your best bet is to wait for service .
if you start taking the unit apart you could VOID you warranty on the unit .
