water temperature can not be turned down. It always washes on a very hot temperature.
I replaced the thermistor but it did not fix the problem.
What could the problem be?
Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I look forward to helping you! Are you sure the water hoses are not reversed on the valves? What happens on a cold wash?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The machine only has a cold water feed, no hot water feed.

The 'cold wash' setting does not work - it stays hot

That would lead me to believe that the heater is stuck on, likely due to a welded contact in a control relay on the PCB. Do you have an electrical meter to test with?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes I have a meter. I shall look around to see if I can find the relay.
YOu can test for voltage to the heater when the machine is on. In a cold cycle, the heater should not be energized.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
The relay is fine. The re-seating of all the connections may have changed something. Testing takes some time. My wife will test the machine tomorrow. Will give you feedback.
Certainly, please take your time and let me know how it goes. Thank you!

The machine works now, thank you. I do not know what was wrong. Just needed tlc.
Great, glad it is working!
