My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you today. Can you get me the complete model number off of the machine please?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
does this number sound right? (NNN) NNN-NNNN4619(NNN) NNN-NNNN3
No, it should start with 2 or 3 letters followed by 3 or 4 numbers and more letters. Is this a front load or top load washer?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
front load
where should I find the number? I can't find the paperwork
If you open the door it should be around the opening of the washer, or on the back of the machine. Also get the serial number too.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
3 questions.
1. Could the 4 in your model number be a Y?
2. There should be something else after the F1 code, such as an E1 or E2.
3. At what point in the cycle do you get the error code?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
yes, it is a Y
nothing after the code

towards the end - halfway through rinse cycle
Thank you for the information. An F1 code indicates a bad control board. Below is a link for the board if you want to purchase one. They have a 365 day return policy no matter if you install it or not.
