just replaced the door lock, tried to start a cycle. door locks, then the baskets turns 1/4 cw and cww then door just unlocks and washer turns off. is there some type of reset to be done? model ge - wcvh6800jww front loader

Note:

The display must be blank to proceed.


Disconnect the power for 30 seconds.


Reconnect power and within 30 seconds of


reconnecting power:


Press signal button.


Press delay start button.


Press signal button.


Press delay start button. (The door will lock,


then will display t01.)


Note:

A washer left in the test mode will exit the test


mode and unlock the door after a period of 2 hours.

okay , sorry I didn't realize this one you have to press start/pause to advance to the next test. press the start/pause and it will run a test , then press it again and it will run the next test and keep going . t02

when it got to t02 did it show any errors ? I believe you may have a control board issue . as you go through these t numbers the machine will do certain things. like 105 starts the pump. and t06 puts water in. is this happening ?

okay , well the only thing that would cause that is the control as far as I know.
