Our GE Profile refirigerator is leaking water when it is drawing water to make ice. It is coming out of the bottom at the back corner of the refrigerator. It is a side by side.

good morning. okay the water is comming out down where the electronic fill valve is located. before ordering a new valve check the plastic line running up to the ice maker in the back,.. these lines are plastic and can sometimes crack. also make sure it is in the valve tightly. Thank you. It does not appear to be in the line at all. Where exactly is the valve located.

roll the refrigerator away from the wall and remove the cover at the bottom, the valve will be in the left corner (looking from the back) its part # XXXXX on this diagram. hope this helps, thanks and have a great weekend ! Bryan

Bryan,
We have found a break in the black tubing from the bottom of the valve that
runs to the ice maker About 2 1/2 " below the valve.

thats great ! saves you from buying the valve. to release the tube from the valve push the white ring in towards the valve and pull the tube out. see if you can cut it back past the leak and just stick the tube back in all the way then pull back to make sure its secure,good job, thanks , Bryan
