GE Spacesaver microwave over-the-range Model JVM1653WD 001.

It is completely dead since yesterday. Absolutely nothing operates. The power is OK at the wall socket and tested OK with other devices.
Is there any internal fuse or circuit protector or interlock that might have interrupted the power?
Many thanks.
Hello. Thank you for choosing Just Answer. I will be helping you with your question today.

There is a 20 amp fuse located behind the control panel. To access the fuse remove the grill from the top. Then the screw out of the top of the control panel. Lift up on the control panel and pull out.

Fast and furious. Excellent. I will take a look for the 20amp fuse and test it. The diagnoses sounds correct to me so I'll pursue in the next hour. Many thanks

I took out the Fuse abd tested it - not blown. Put it back in and I measured the 110 voltage which was present both ends of the fuse.

Do you have any other ideas?

Test for 110 at the control board. If you have it then the board is bad.

I'm scapping the microwave oven.

I would have probably done the same thing.

I'm glad to hear that.

Take care.
