My ice dispensor on my refrigerator is not working. Model #ED2KHAXVB00. There is no sound or click made when you push the bar for ice. What is wrong?

The water dispensor works fine.

Hello..It is my Pleasure To Be Working With You Today.....I you open the freezer door...Hold the door switch in..PRess the ice option..Does the auger motor run..?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No it does not.

Ok great most common failure when this happens is a faulty auger motor #28..First the door switch must be tested for power along with the wire harness which travels up through the door at the hinge area..Check for broken wires at that point...If all tests good then the motor will need to be replaced...

Could it be the door switch as well? I'm not sure how to test the switch.

If the water dispenser works then it will not be the door switch
