oven door won't open after cleaning

Hello..It is my Pleasure To Be Working With You Today...Sorry to hear of your problem in this situation..First unplug or turn power off to the unit..Plug back in..See if door will unlock..The door lock is motorized..Either the lock has failed (which is most common) Or the ovens computer has failed..This is one reason why we recommend self cleaning after the holidays The self clean can damage electronic components such as the computer and the door lock motor..If unplugging does not help..Then your only other option is to force the ovens door latch open..To do this take a coat hanger etc. Fish it down in between the top of the door and the oven cabinet..Pull the door latch #38 to the left to open...Then have the door latch motor tested, unfortunately there is no way around the repair...If the door latch tests ok..Then the ovens computer is faulty..
