Hi have a Kenmore h2 front load washer model 110.47561604 that has worked flawlessly until now! It will not start a wash cycle. Power on - beep - select cycle - beep - select water temperature - beep proceed to press and hold start button and it then goes to power off? I have unplugged and replugged in with no avail. Please help!

Hi my name is XXXX. X have been an appliance repair tech since 1992.Let me pull up the service manual for your model, I will be back asap.
The Kenmore / Sears tech site is down currently. I would need to access it to properly diagnosis it for you. They state 60 minutes of being down, but that could change. If you can come back later, i can have an answer for you. I will post and you will get an email notification.
is that site accessible only by technicians or anyone?
Only technicians, and right now it is down, still.
I can advance tell you the control may have an error and needs to be replaced. But would need to look up the codes to determine it. You can check the connections on the main board by removing the top of the washer removing the three rear screws and sliding off the top. Then you will have access the controls. Make sure nothing is pinched or unplugged. Also reconnect connections on all to make sure anyways.
There are no codes that display on the front panel at any time as it powers itself off
Did you check on the connections?
Sites up again:If all connections are good, i would change the interface board # 8540490.You can change it by removing the top. And removing rear screws of control.
I am at work and will not be able to attempt this until I get home tonight.
Where would I attempt to order the interface board?
You can use RepairClinic.com, they will accept any return for any reason even if you install it.Thanks!
Is this a common repair issue with this type of washer/brand?
Yes on the interface board. I have seen plenty myself
Is this a repair that a "non appliance repair person" can install?
Best way i can show you is to watch this video up till the 1:54 second mark. Thanks!
Video? Please send the link?

It may not be your exact front panel , but it is the same machine.
