Customer: replied 4 years ago.

For the last year it raddled when it shut off , stoped freesing all of asuden.

Was it like a banging sound when it shut down ?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

yes like the compressor wasent tied down good and it was hitting something .

Expert:  Tom Johnston replied 4 years ago.
I do not believe you have a leak. What that sound was is called piston slap it means the piston jumped out of its track. What i believe is the compressor has failed and is no longer pumping. It would need to be replaced.
