Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

Do you have a model number so that I can better assist you? And are you saying that the icemaker isn't making ice at all? Or does it not dispense out the front of the door even though the bucket is full of ice?

Customer replied 227 days and 2 hours ago.

ed5shaxmq10 - there is frozen water in icemaker but won't dump into bucket. it had been defrosting when we came back from trip and both doors weren't closed well.

If you open the door first, look at the red light to the right, is it flashing 2 times and then pausing over and over? If you shut the flap on the left side and make a clear path from right to left, does the light turn solid?

Customer replied 227 days and 1 hours ago.

yes - is flashing twice and pausing. i shut flap on left and the light turns solid.

OK perfect. Your emitter boards are working properly so then you either have a bad icemaker, the freezer is too warm, or the ice is just jamming the icemaker. Test the temperature inside the freezer and it should be less than 10 degrees F or the icemaker will not cycle. If the temperature checks good, try to heat up the icemaker with a hair dryer and melt the ice so that if ice is jamming the icemaker from moving, it will reset. Give it 24 hours and if the icemaker still doesn't dispense ice, the icemaker itself will need to be ordered and replaced.

i am measuring temperature inside freezer. i suspect it is not less than 10 degrees f as everything is not freezing. i will get back in touch as soon as i see what temperature is. this is really fascinating and hopefully i don't need new icemaker. how old is this Refrigerator?

I can't say what age it is exactly, but it's less than 10 years old for sure.
