My wine cooler fridge has stopped running. It is quite hot at the back where the round tank and parts are. All lights etc are on but the motor does not seem to run. Any suggestions?

Compressor D130C-L1Z

Model code 1018

Factory No. 4ACWA00135

If you go around back..Feel the compressor..Is it hot to the touch ..?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Yes. If I unplug and let it sit for a while then replug in, it starts and runs then shuts down a few minutes later and the round compressor? is quite hot. It does not continue to run at this stage.

Ok great..This means there is a problem with the sealed system..Which means the system either has a leak or the compressor is faulty..If it has a leak then the leak must first be repaired..In either case it is a expensive fix..Most often more than half the cost of a new unit..
