I replaced the board on the Whirlpool Caprio washer and it still won't spin. Model WTW5600XWO serial C10230116, what next?
Optional Information: Brand: WhirlpoolType of Appliance: WasherWhat have you tried so far?: Replaced the main control board that you said to replace. Went thru the diagnostic modes and calibration mode and it still does not spin on high when washing on normal. I did get it to spin on low on spin and drain.
Hello I'm Larry and I will use all my training and knowledge of 40 years to help you with your Problem today ,, thanksdoes it pump the water out?
Yes but will not spin on high
it does spin but does not go into high spin and does it show a error like F1 or anything
No error codes. I ran the diagnostic mode and the led lights just blinked on and off for .5 sec but did not see the "00" on the display until I ran the calibration mode. I have not set and watched the washer go thru an entire cycle though. How long do the error codes display themselves?
not long at all, start the washer and when it acts up it should show the error at that time so try it and let me know please
I will try that. The board I took out was a Rev D and the one I ordered new was a Rev C. Be back in about a half hour.
take your time
I ran a load on normal. The led lights went thru the cycle but it only pumped water in and water out. There was no activity on wash from 33 min to 20 min then some water in and some water out. I stopped on 11 min and wouldn/t move.
was this the part number of the board you installed ,,, W10296018
yes. how is the diagnostic supposed to display after the led lights blink on and off?
it should clear and be ready to use, i would send it back for a replacement ,, the one you have is bad or its a rebuilt board
At the beginning of the casual and quick wash the tub bumps the sides of the case a couple times then stops. Quick wash stopped at 9 mins for over 9 min when the led was on spin
sorry but i had to step out ,, then this is a different problem than that board
do you still need help?
Guess I have to start with a repair man
if the tub bumps on the sides then you have something under the tub to cause this and also why it does not spin so yes for this you will need a service tech ,, thanks
