How do I reset a KitchenAid electric oven. The burners work.

Pushed start button (control lock)held it for 5 seconds. Electricity was off due to power outage.

So is the control on lockout? or is the display out and you can not get anything to program. If so can you see anything on the display?

More than likely the board or thermal fuse is burned out. There is not a reset on this and the power outage more than likley burned out the power board or the thermal fuse. You need to pull the unit out. Remove the back panel to get at the thermal fuse....it is part #23 atr this link, you can see a picture of it as well. Unplug the unit and remove the two leads to the thermal fuse. Put the wires together and tape them with electrical tape so they can not touch ground. Then plug it back in. If the display comes back on the thermal fuse is bad., Order it and replace it. If it still does not come back on the power board is bad.
