Customer Question

Hi there. I found a toothpick lodged in one of the holes of the drum of my front end washer. When I tried to grab it, it fell through to the other side. My question is, should I run a load and wait to see if it gets stuck in the pump, or possibly drains out successfully, or is there some better way to get that thing out of there? Also, if I run a load with no trouble, does it mean the toothpick has passed through the plumbing?

Optional Information:
Brand: Fridgidaire
Type of Appliance: Washer

Already Tried:
I've tried getting the toothpick out through the holes in the drum using thin tweezers, but ended up dropping the toothpick and now can't see it any more.

Hi Im John I will help you with the tooth pick problem.

a tooth pic isent big enough to stop the impeller in the water pump so i would use the washer , if it does jam up the pump you can remove the bottom front panel to clean out the filter.

it wont damage the water pump, the alternative is to completly dissasemble the washer to get at the tooth pick.

if you require more assistance let me know please.
