you can hear the pump pumping out but the tub does not spin?

Customer replied 285 days and 7 hours ago.

That is correct. I thought it could be the belt broke. However I could not find the belt for the spinning barrel. All I can find is, at the bottom, the little belt driving the washing hand.

the same belt controls both, the break assembly is bad and its part of the transmission on this unit and you will have to replace the complete transmission which will cost about $400 for the part and labor, you will have to use a service tech to do this because of special tools needed for the repair ,,, sorry for the bad news but i'm Glad i could help you with your problem so please leave me a positive rating of one of the top 3 smiley faces for me before you leave for my time and knowledge, if you cant leave a positive rating then please do not leave one at all, a lower rating counts against us ,, thanks

what is break assembly?var __chd__ = {'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca'};(function() { var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'text/javascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://z': 'http://p') + '.DANGEROUS URL REMOVED'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(c, s);})();
