i have a sears front load washer. how do i access the pump/ filter from the fron of the washer? the pump runs, but will not drain.

some washers have a filter. does this model?
please wait for my response, when you post twice it erases my post and you don't get them. what I think the issue may be is either a bad pump or a clog in the boot thats connected to the tub itself. you will need to remove that and see. number 40 is the filter but its in the boot part # XX.
