So you are saying that the unit fills and then just stops ?

Customer replied 287 days and 4 hours ago.

It acts really funny. It does not sense like it used to. Then it fills and does not do anything else.

Thank you !

on the pressure switch with the tub full of water the contacts 1 and 3 should show continuity (closed switch ) if the switch is closed and it still does not agitate or advance you have a faulty Main control .

Customer replied 287 days and 3 hours ago.

Where is the pressure switch

Picture
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 287 days and 2 hours ago.

in the console on the leftside when looking at the unit from the front , it has two wires going to it and a clear tube !

Customer replied 287 days and 2 hours ago.

where should I take the continuity readings from. I found the clear tube.

Picture
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 287 days and 2 hours ago.

remove the two wires from the switch and then test the two terminals on the switch itself

Just do not remove the clear tube!!

Customer replied 287 days and 2 hours ago.

My wife is going to get the tester. I will respond once she gets back.

Picture
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 287 days and 2 hours ago.

yes only one tube and then the two wires go to same switch as the clear tube.

Customer replied 286 days and 7 hours ago.

around the clear tube there is nothing with two wires. everything has 4 wires. and the tube is on the right not the left

The parts breakdown and tech sheet shows it on the left side when looking at it from the front .graphic

Customer replied 285 days and 21 hours ago.

that isn't my washer. the clear tube goes in to the main control board and its only about 2" long. nothing with only 2 wires

Ok I see that one Whirlpool site has the wrong tech sheet under your model number .I did find the correct one !!

Yes your model the pressure switch hose goes right into the main control , which mean your issue is the control board itself .

This parts link is for part number and price reference only,, you can purchase the part at any local Appliance parts dealer in your area.

This is the cheapest place I could find .

So sorry For the mix up .

I will let Whirlpool know of the wrong tech sheet on their site .
