can the top of the agitiator be replaced or fixed? the bottom part of the agitator works fine but the upper part just sits there and doesn't move. i just moved into this home and can't find the serial numbers. It is a 5 wash/spin speed combination--8 speed--2 motor.
Optional Information: Brand: Whirlpool Type of Appliance: Washer Already Tried: tried to take it apart to see if there was anything I could find that might be missing.

how do i get the agigators apart?
It should just pull apart if you pull on it, but if not then you may need to pry on the locking tabs. Below is another video that sort of shows how.CLICK HERE
