I have a Kenmore electric range. How do you clean the inside of the window in the oven door? I see definite design flaw in the way the door has openings along the top where food etc. can enter thus the inside of the glass is easily stained. As far as I am concerned windows in oven doors are useless and a nuisance.
I looked for a way to open up the door glass area but couldn't decide if it was advisable to loosen screws in the door.
Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem! My name is XXXXX XXXXX X look forward to helping you! Remove the screws that go through the oven side of the door to the handle (number 10) and the ones along the bottom of the door (60B) and it will come apart. The picture below may help you in disassembling it. Once opened, you will have access to the internal glass components.
