have ge refrigerator the compressor relay is clicking in on and off, temperature display is -43 for frig -49 freezer where is the sensor? am i looking a a board failure?
Optional Information: Brand: ge Type of Appliance: Refrigerator Already Tried: opened cover, no burning on board, no burnt smell (yet), no signs of oil. coils clean.

ok so if it's clicking that quickly that does mean your control board is starting to fail. This is a very common failure for the Refrigerator. If you pull the refrigerator forward, there is an 8" x 10" sheet metal panel on the back of the refrigerator. Behind this panel is the control board you'll need to order and replace.
