I have an in-sink Briva dishwasher and two of the buttons on the keypad have stopped working (pots/pans, Normal). Any ideas? Thanks
Optional Information: Brand: KitchenAid Type of Appliance: Dishwasher Already Tried: Not much...I called and they said it would cost $300 to have a technician come out. Thought I'd do research first.

May I get your units Model number to better assist you?
Model KIDS01EK; thanks.
could it be a SS0 on the end of that model number?
I do not see anything like that; just says Model KIDS01EK and then on the next line(NNN) NNN-NNNN It is a Briva In-sink dishwasher (for residential use only).
Are you getting this number OFF the unit or out of a booklet?
Off the booklet - which can also be found here (http://www.ajmadison.com/ajmadison/itemdocs/briva_use_care.pdf)
it is on the under side of the unit .
that`s what i needed to know thou!
You need a new touch pad .
This parts link is for part number and price reference only,, you can purchase the part at any local Appliance parts dealer in your area.

your appliance servicer makes money on the part so they can warranty it.and to replace the touch pad the entire unit has to be removed from the countertop .
The price of $300 is right on for this repair ,not the easiest by no means .
