kitchenaid kudh03dtss2 Dishwasher. The top drawer has the following buttons lit: Quick Cleanup, Rinse Only, all 3 option buttons, and 3 buttons to the right of the option buttons that don't have captions. Nothing works to get these unlit or to get the top drawer to wash dishes. The bottom drawer of the dishwasher works fine.
Optional Information: Brand: Kitchen Aid Type of Appliance: Dishwasher Already Tried: Unplugging the dishwasher for a couple of minutes and plugging it back in. Pushing all of the available buttons to see if it would correct the problem.

Hopefully, I can order the part and rate the service after I get it. Rating it before I get it seems wrong since I don't know if it will work until I get it. Is that how it's supposed to work.
YOu are not rating me on the repair or this web site would be just repair .
You are rating me on my answer to your question !
And I worked for Whirlpool for 15 years ,which owns Kitchen-Aid and teach Appliance repair at a college level .
That`s why I`m an expert on this web site.
Can you tell me how to install the part? I just got it today.
you need to remove the front of the drawer and then replace the control
I'm not an appliance repairman and I don't have the diagram of the drawer. I've removed the 4 screws from the front of the drawer but that doesn't let me remove it. Can you give me detailed directions. Thank you. ,
ok you have a total of six screws and after they are removed the front lift up and off the drawer.
OK. I figured it out. Removed everything and hooked up the new part. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The same lights are lit as before and nothing can be done to change them. ,
Ok and the small ribbon cable for the touchpad (buttons on top of the door ) is correctly plugged in to the new control , and the ribbon conection look good ,(not torn or burnt)?
yes. Plugged in as before and looks fine. ,
ok I have never had to replace a touch pas assembly ,but it can go bad I have had to replace 30-40 controls .
Lets try a touch pad .
