Just bought a house which included washer and dryer. The washer is a Bosch Nexxt series. Can I get an instruction manual on how to use this thing? I ran a hot water cycle in order to clean it out (previous owner left it really moldy/smelly), and the door won't unlock. How do I unlock it?Also, any suggestions to get rid of the smell? Already wiped out the rubber "rings" around the door which were covered in mold. I'll need to do more to them as well. Couldn't get rid of the mold stain.
Optional Information: Brand: BOSCH NEXXT Series Type of Appliance: Washer Already Tried: wiped out rubber rings with dishwashing soap. Tried turning off the washer to get the door open. No luck.

Just went to look again. Pretty sure it's inside the door that I can't get open. It's a BOSCH Nexxt 500 Plus Series if that helps any. It's a High Efficiency washer.
ok well to manually open the door, watch the video in the link below.CLICK HERETo get rid of the smell, you should be able to run a cycle with a product called Affresh which is sold at Wal Mart or Home Depot / Lowes to clean out the unit. Sorry I took so long. Love the video. Sure enough the drum hadn't drained, so I drained and am now washing the towels I used. Crossing my fingers that all is well now.
alright well I hope everything continues to work. It's a little strange that the unit wouldn't drain (which will cause the door to not unlock). So you may have a problem with the washer.
I should have finished watching the video before I started washing again. I probably have something in the drain catch that shouldn't be there.

Yep, back to the washer again.
the only other thing to do is to get a technician out there to split the tub apart and manually clean out everything inside the tub by scrubbing it down.
Oh dear. Okay.
You would need an appliance technician, so either Sears or some other local appliance repair center that you know of in the area. I hope everything works out.
