Moving it out from the wall, clearing out anything near the fan in the freezer section.
Hello, Thank you for using this service, I will be helping you with your problem today. Can you tell us what kind of noise ? Is it comming from inside or out ?
It sounds like it's coming from the inside of the freezer. The last person I talked to, Debbie, told me I needed to call back when it was making the noise, I asked for the manager, I was disconnected. Debbie was my third call, I'm under warranty, what good is it when you can't get anyone to help? Next step, I'll go to Sears. I'll never buy from them again if this is the way it works.
okay. does it sound like a motor or fan that could be hitting something ?
There's nothing to hit, I moved everything away. My brother thought it was a leveling problem, but it's level. Everyone laughs about loud it is. I'm leaving town on Monday, I don't know what to do. Doesn't anyone come out and look anymore?
Okay I completely understand. I didn't mean hitting something you put in the freezer what I meant was the fan behind the panel could be hitting frost or ice , The fan could also be failing. where did you purchase this ? can you get me the model number?
I purchased it in the Cincinnati Eastgate store, the model # XXXXX XXXXX It's a very simple fridge, and of course, right now, it's making no noise.
I would avoid talking to the company you bought this from. call this number and explain the situation and that you would like factory service. also put in a complaint to them about the Eastgate store, heres the phone number. (1-800-469-4663)that is a direct # XXXXX Kenmore. wish I could do more, thanks Bryan
