We have a Intuitive Washing machine which has started to scream

This answer was rated:

We have a Intuitive Washing machine which has started to scream at the commencement of the wash cycle, it then settles down and carries on as normal, it sounds like a slipping belt. Any suggestions?

Hello, I can help you with this. These unit do not have drive belts. Does switching the temp of the wash to either all hot or all cold make any difference? If so you need one of the valves. Most likely is won't help in which case you will need a pump or main drive motor. It is easy to reach underneath and discconnect the drain pump (underneath front right corner wires). That way can rule out the pump. If it still makes sound with the pump disconnected, then you need the main motor. Let me know what you find and how I can help further. Thanks, Sam
