My husband left a burner on low and left a piece of aluminum

Resolved Question:

My husband left a burner on low and left a piece of aluminum file on top of it accidentally. By the time we saw/found the stove on and turned it off the foil was stuck to the flat top. We pulled all we could off and even used a light scrape and nothing is coming off. What do we do? Is there any way to get the aluminim off without damaging the top or is it already useless? Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for using this service, I will be helping you with your problem today.

unfortunately this is bad.using the glass top cleaner and a new razor blade is your best shot. these will scratch easy also. all you can do is keep trying with the glass top cleaner. it may take some time and elbow grease but if your persistent you will get it off. wish there was some perfect solution sorry.
