Hi Im John I will help you with the thermal fuse .
Do you have a volt meter to check the fuse ?
Ok, to check the fuse use the resistance setting and unplug the dryer and remove both wires from the fuse and use the two leads on the fuse if you get a reading the fuse is ok .
You can also join and tape the two wires together if the dryer starts to heat replace the fuse.
The fuse is located on the blower housing at the front of the dryer.
This is the igniter
If its not glowing and is getting 120 volts replace the igniter.
